Before writing a full-fledged article, I am a candidate for the first quarter vaccination. Eligible persons are included in national nursing hospitals, nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, medical staff and related persons, medical workers, epidemiological investigators, and paramedics (under 65 years of age). It is said that elderly people 65 years of age or older are not eligible for the primary vaccination, and they will review additional clinical data by the end of March and decide whether or not to receive the vaccination later. The first quarter vaccinations started at 9 am on Friday, February 26, 2021, and we administered the first vaccination on Tuesday, March 2. The vaccine was, of course, the first to receive AstraZeneca, which was approved for domestic approval. AstraZeneca, who was very talkative because it was the first vaccine administered in Korea. It was true that there was more worry and burden about possible side effects than the expectation that it would free the corona.
AstraZeneca is a vaccine released by Oxford University in the UK and AstraZeneca, a pharmaceutical company, and is a'viral vector' that induces a cell-mediated immune response by injecting the Corona 19 virus antigen gene into another virus type to generate antigenic protein in our body. It is a type of vaccine.
In simple terms, a vaccine containing a live virus. Therefore, it is easy to transport because it is stored refrigerated at a low temperature between 2 and 8 degrees, and a total of two inoculations should be performed at intervals of 1 to 3 months. The currently estimated preventive effect is 63.1%, and when more than 90% of them are vaccinated, it is expected that the entire Korean population will be able to form group immunity by the third quarter (November).
Most of the vaccines on the market are released after more than 10 years of sufficient clinical trials. Since the vaccines and treatments related to corona were developed within a short period of time, clinical trials are relatively insufficient, and data related to the vaccine are insufficient.
Representative symptoms after vaccination include fever, fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain, headache, and nausea. The mild side effects after getting the vaccine can be seen as the active immune system in our body, and it is normal for most to recover after 2-3 days. However, if the side effects persist or there is a discomfort that makes daily life difficult, it is better to see medical treatment as soon as possible.
Write down the symptoms I wrote down for 24 hours after getting the vaccine.
Because it's an extremely immune system response that happened to me, it can't be the same as anyone else. It is written as a record, so just for reference.
✦ 30 minutes later ➞ slight gastrointestinal sensation
✦ After 1 hour and 30 minutes ➞ The injection site feels a little prickly and a little heavy
✦ After 3 hours ➞ The injection site is swollen and heavy when the arm is raised, so there is a slight pulling pain.
✦ 8 hours later ➞ loss of appetite (leaving rice)
✦ 10 hours later ➞ both eyes burst
✦ After 12 hours ➞ Chills, body aches, muscle aches all over the body, and all the bones feel limping.
✦ 14 hours later ➞ sweating and being cold, so it's tingling
✦ After 24 hours ➞ I couldn't control my body temperature well My body seems to have returned less.. My whole body is heavy and drooping. Muscular pain, bone joint pain still remains
Immediately after getting the vaccine, I was so fine that I was less sick than the flu?! But as time passed, it was really painful. Can't sleep well at dawn, suffers from chills and body aches
I feared that it would be really unspeakable if I got coronavirus. When I went to work the next day and asked the staff, more than half of them said they couldn't sleep at dawn due to chills and body aches... Even among the workers in other hospitals in Gyeonggi-do, some people were absent from work due to severe body aches, nausea and vomiting, and some suffered severe muscle pain.
To explain the feeling of muscle pain, it feels like dozens of people are stepping on me well and the bones of the whole body are sore... It was very hard work. It wasn't that I couldn't control my body, but I really hated this unpleasant feeling of body weight.
