Oatley DD - The most delicious vegetable milk.

Oatley is a company that makes oat milk. Our country also makes drinks out of rice (morning sunshine), but Otley is not just a drink, but a milk substitute drink. I haven't tried it yet, but there's a rumor that it tastes better if you put it instead of milk when you make latte. It has a higher viscosity than milk and a stronger taste.

Many people are now criticizing the stock price for being highly valued, expressing their wonder that the market capitalization has more than doubled that of Beyond Meat. Considering that Lumina was criticized at first, the only stocks that can be bought from a biased perspective are large companies like Samsung, Amazon, and Google.

At this point, Beyond Meat still seems to be a niche product, but Oatly is already building its own market beyond the niche/mainstream limit. In other words, they can't sell it because they don't have it.(This is the same as Tesla.)

 

Three years ago, I was able to meet Otley at a coffee shop in Shanghai, and it started selling through online retailers. Now, there are many coffee shops around the world that are trying to handle otley even if they are not special coffee shops, and demand is exploding.

Also, milk substitutes (soy milk, almond milk, etc.) that have been released so far have the disadvantage of not being digested in common, and losing the original taste of food because they are used instead of milk. However, Otley digests well and makes the food taste better than milk, so a company that sells only a single product is listed on the NASDAQ.

Then the biggest risk is for competitors to make similar products. Another company can make oat milk. But it's likely that it doesn't taste the same. This is the same context as coke. Why does Coca-Cola still have an unrivaled position even though it has 815 coke and Pepsi in Korea? It's the same thing that you can never make.

Although the production facilities have not stabilized yet, there is a deficit, but I think it will be the second Coca-Cola when the supply meets the demand.

And as an aside, oats are used as feed crops in Korea. Edible oats are not grown well because they are not suitable for planting. Therefore, it is difficult to get oat-related drinks in Korea (i.e., you must import and eat them).
